The last time (also the first time) we brewed with HQG 4 – an experimental public variety via the Hop Quality Group variety we’ve championed since 2019 (though it’s been in the pipeline as a baby since 2015 when it was known as HQG2015034-023) – y’all drank it up real quick. Welp, we’ve got some 2025 crop year from Crosby in house AND the hop has officially been named Thora, after the goddess of Thunder, because it WILL roll in quick and crack you in the nose. There’s a reason why Russian River and Ninkasi Brewing are buying the majority of this crop year, and it’s because it’s straight FLASH BANG POW of guava, nectarine and white grapefruit. Come take our hand, we’re riding out tonight to taste the promised land.
