Mark our words – someday this hybrid style will catch fire and be all the rage in craft beer, maybe even ALL OF BEER. It has everything people say they want – lower alcohol, low bitterness, a touch of crackery pilsner malt for body, pleasant hop flavor and aromatics, and a crisp, dry finish. It checks those boxes and then some! But because it cannot fit neatly into a box, these beers are often overlooked (see: …or something; with brightness of peace; For Me This Is Heaven; etc).  So here’s what we need from you: what should we call this style? Dry Hopped Helles, Hoppy Pale Lager, Hoppy Lager, Session Beer – nothing hits!
