Remember those simpler, more analogue times? Things took a little longer, we all had a little more patience, and people were more considerate of others. Like when you finished using a VHS tape, you’d rewind it so that the next person can enjoy it in the same manner you did….unless the tape jammed. Well, times have changed a little. And so have IPAs. Like this one. It’s hazy AF thanks to loads of pale wheat and oats, super soft & silky in part from additional brewing salts, with minimal bitterness because we only added hops to the Whirlpool and Fermenter. Who’d a thunk that up a few years back?! We used an equal parts blend of Citra, NZ Cascade, and NZ Motueka for huge, futuristic notes of tangerine, yellow peaches, key lime, & passionfruit. It’s a perfect example of the modernization of IPA, but brewed by two brewers with old-timey vibes, ardent work ethic, compassion for other humans and passion for all styles of beer.
