This pretty pale is all about that Motueka. Hailing from a remote part of New Zealand, people like to lump it in as yet another “tropical” hop…but we think that’s a bit of a stretch. This hop has a pretty expansive, wide range of flavors – key lime, meyer lemon, tree bark, & eucalyptus – that’s delicate yet assertive. It’s mother was Saaz, after all! We used three separate lots of Motueka throughout the process to create some depth & nuance upon a light & crisp crusher of a base beer. As the Kiwi’s say…more drinkie, less thinkie!
