This was our second to last wet hop brew of the season, and it’s been a blur of greens. The stoke only builds, each turn getting more sticky with excitement, and anticipation, as we shepherd in these wet babies through nearly 4 weeks of production. The Citra from Loftus was throwing fresh squeezed tangerine juice, so we doubled down on it and loaded it into this West Coast IPA, with a slightly lower abv than usual so that we could have a few of these in one go. This beer goes from sage to fern to jade to emerald to evergreen – bright waves of green before the fall settles in.
