This is a modern pale ale brewed with mostly Citra and Motueka hops. We think it’s neat because it’s like an IPA but with less alcohol, less bitterness, and more harmony between soft crackery malt character and lemon limey citrusy meets yellow peachy hop character. Why aren’t these more popular? WE WISH WE KNEW! Even Courtney Barnett wrote a song about them, and still – no buzz. She’s all like “you’ll love it, you’ll hate it, on the fence, it all depends. Put it on a pedestal, it’ll only disappoint you. Call it exceptional, it’ll exploit you”. And guess what – she’s not wrong. So just give us 3.5 stars already while you crush multiple pints of this delicious nectar, you Debbie Downers you.
