We’ve played around a tiny bit with Experimental Hop 638 this past Fall, and we were intrigued by it’s subtle notes of candied citrus, ripe pineapple, lychee, & flowers in bloom. That said, we thought it needed a little familiar boost of something EVERYBODY loves…from a little hop we like to call Citra. The combination pulls Hop 638 in a more rounded, soft citrus profile – with the tropical & floral notes as a balanced undertone. Sometimes we get weird and take risks to unpredictable & often delicious results….but sometimes you just gotta play it safe.
