HOLY MOLY ARE WE EXCITED FOR THIS BEER. We teamed up with hometown rockstar heroes, Deep Sea Diver, to create a citrus forward crusher to celebrate the release of their new album (OUT THIS WEEK!) called Billboard Heart, which is their first record on Sub Pop (hometown label heroes)! We’ve loved DSD since the early days – anyone else remember the multi-floor Fremont Abbey show?! – and were delighted to make a celebratory beer to cheers this new accomplishment. They even came through during the brew day to help pick out the hop bill – Citra (built for radio), Galaxy (international superstar), and two types of Cascade (Yakima-grown aka classic homage & New Zealand-grown aka classic with a modern twist). And the icing on the cake? They’ll be doing a listening party and album signing at Shilshole THIS Thursday 2/27.
