For our first IPA of harvest, we found ourselves in Granger at Shinn & Son Farms, in a kiln that smelled like the freshest Sierra Nevada pale ale you’ve never had. Cascade is often overlooked in today’s fast moving brewing scene, even if that scene wouldn’t exist without the beers built on that hop. In tribute of the hop that created an industry, we used 23#/bbl of Cascade in this rendition, giving big notes of grapefruit, pine needles, beach grass & marmalade. It’s OG, it’s familiar, it’s classy, it’s wet, it’s classic.
