This is a story about young & little known dual purpose hop from Slovenia named Styrian Dragon. There wasn’t much information out there – some said notes of passion fruit, melon, berries, & sweet pepper. We were intrigued. After assessing the raw hop, we decided to add some Citra to anchor some citrusy notes, and then ended up adding an additional touch of Mosaic during the dry-hop just to brighten it up a little. And then this little viking kid adopted a runty dinosaur dragon thing that has no teeth but is quick and ends up saving the day!
