Yeah yeah we all love heroes. But not all of them are created equal at this point. Obviously there’s like superheroes – often with supernatural powers and/or billions of dollars (we’re looking at you, Batman) – which just don’t seem that relatable. It’s cool they’re crazy strong or can fly or become invisible but they really have no excuse but to be a hero. This beer takes inspiration from all the normal heroes, the unlikely ones without super powers, that go above and beyond when duty calls (there’s a lot of you out there right now, fighting tyranny). That’s why we built this West Coasty around Chinook hops, along with a lil Citra and Simcoe (heroes have sidekicks!). Chinook has a humble upbringing, has developed deep roots within its community, and knows when to be assertive and carry a beer.
